The Lark Center is a Private Pay Organization
What Does That Mean?
Tuition (for our day programs) is billed a month in advance. Fees for therapy, social groups, and other services are due on or before the day of service. Intake appointment fees are due at the time of booking. In most cases, the family of the client is responsible for all payments. In some cases, schools, funding agencies (like DDS or DMH), or private grant organizations are responsible for some or all payments. Coordinating payments from outside agencies is the responsibility of the client’s family. The Lark Center provides “SUPERBILLS” upon request for any family choosing to pursue reimbursement from their insurance provider. We take credit cards, debit cards, check, cash, or health savings accounts/flex spending accounts.
Why Don’t We Take Insurance?
In order to maintain the fidelity of our highest quality and newest best practices, it is important that we remain independent from insurance agencies, who may dictate the type, duration, frequency, and methodology of our services. Remaining “private pay” allows the clinicians and families (the actual experts in each client’s care) to remain in the driver’s seat. Our “private pay” status provides the additional benefits of maintaining very short waitlists, thorough evaluations, and ample wrap around supports.
Fees listed are estimates and are subject to change. After each intake appointment, you will receive a “good faith estimate” in order to understand the specific fees associated with your child’s individualized plan of care.
