FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

We do not directly bill insurance. We can provide you with a monthly "superbill" that contains all of the necessary information in order for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We recommend calling your insurance company to find out exactly how much they may reimburse for this program.

What kind of therapeutic support is available?

Clients will have day-to-day contact with highly qualified therapists (occupational therapists, speech therapists, physical therapists, and psychotherapists) as part of their regular programming. Additional individual therapies are available upon request/based on staff availability. Additional therapeutic services outside of the program will be charged separately.

What is the client to staff ratio?

The client to staff ratio is no greater than 4:1, with most groups being no larger than 8 clients with 2 - 3 staff.

Do you accept DDS?

We are not a contracted agency with DDS. If you are curious about using self-directed funding, please contact your DDS representative. We also advise families to look into private grants specifically tailored to their child’s needs. We are happy to work with families to customize payment plans.

What is the profile of the participants who attend SkyLARK?

SkyLARK works with neurodivergent clients, as well as clients with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Some clients have autism spectrum disorders, while others have intellectual disabilities, genetic disorders, or other learning, neurological, or physical differences. Our clients have minimal need for medical intervention, and a high drive for independence.
